- Week One
- Day 6
- Remember to ask for guidance and wisdom and for a heart to love Him more!
Scripture
Romans 3:9-11
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
2 Thessalonians 1:9-12
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Romans 5:6-8
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Galatians 2:20
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Devotional
THE GOSPEL: Remember it and Preach it to yourself Daily!
Man was created to glorify God and enjoy and delight in Him forever! (Praise God!)
“Be glad of heart, O believer, but take care that thy gladness has its spring in the Lord. Thou hast much cause for gladness in thy God, for thou canst sing with David, ‘God, my exceeding joy.’ Be glad that the Lord reigneth, that Jehovah is King! Rejoice that He sits upon the throne, and ruleth all things! Every attribute of God should become a fresh ray in the sunlight of our gladness. That He is mighty, should cause us to rejoice who tremble at our weakness.”
– Charles Spurgeon –
Man disobeyed and rebelled against God and received the due penalty for His actions. He is now spiritually dead, separated from God, and in great debt due to his manifold transgressions.
Jesus Christ lived, (I will add took the wrath of the Ancient of Days upon Himself), died for our sins, and rose from the dead to conquering sin. He who knew no sin became sin on our behalf so that He could give you His righteousness.
Whoever, by the power of God, are quickened and turn to Jesus in humble, trusting, faith are forgiven of their sin and eternal life in Christ Jesus. If you cry out to God, confessing that you are a sinner in need of God’s forgiveness, then God Himself has done a mighty, powerful, merciful work in you.
Our response to the gospel: Go forward in faith remembering what Christ has done and daily die to yourself that He might live in and through you.

Hello beloved brothers and sisters! I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! I am so very glad that you take time out of your day for almost a week now to join me for this brief moment with the Lord. I pray this is just the beginning of your time with Him and you fill your cup fresh with His love, mercies and cling ever tighter to the Lord. I love you all and as always until next time, stay peculiar!
